On 23rd October some of the more experienced members from Lacetown Archers headed off for a much-anticipated local competition. The Eagle Open shoot was hosted by Kyrton Archers, who are based in nearby Crediton, Devon. Some good results were obtained and there was a lot of catching up with old archery friends from other clubs. A very enjoyable event all-round.

Well done to all who took part, and to those who won medals. It was great to see so many from our own Lacetown guys and gals, some of which it was their first time competing.

And a big well done to Bart (his first competition) for getting bronze in the recurve category and helping to get the gold with Wendy and Noel in the team trophy category.

And congratulation to Wendy for compound gold, and Mark for longbow bronze.
